telecaller also known as a telemarketer or telephone sales representative is responsible for generating sales by reaching out to potential and existing customers. Their duties include:
Making calls: Making outbound calls to potential customers and managing incoming calls
Presenting products and services: Explaining the features and benefits of a companys products or services
Building relationships: Fostering relationships with existing customers and building rapport with potential customers
Addressing concerns: Resolving customer concerns or issues
Collecting data: Gathering data on the impact of a companys products or services and relaying it to relevant departments
Maintaining records: Keeping daily call records and submitting daily progress reports
Meeting targets: Meeting and exceeding sales targets
Staying updated: Staying updated with market trends
Customizing scripts: Memorizing scripts and customizing them for clients based on the situation
Adhering to guidelines: Adhering to organizational guidelines and methodology
Telecallers should have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to handle pressure. They should also be able to address customer objections or concerns with persuasive and wellinformed responses.
