About the Role

As a Lead DevOps Engineer you will play a pivotal role in driving our organizations DevOps strategy. You will oversee the design implementation and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) monitoring solutions and cloudbased deployments. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers collaborating across teams and ensuring the reliability scalability and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. DevOps Strategy and Leadership
   

• Define and drive DevOps practices across the organization.
  

• Lead automation efforts for build release and infrastructure management.
  

• Advocate for DevOps best practices including infrastructure as code continuous integration and delivery.
  

2. CI/CD Pipelines
   

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment of microservices and applications.
  

• Ensure pipelines are scalable and support multiple environments (dev test prod).
  

3. Cloud and Infrastructure Management
   

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS Azure or GCP.
  

• Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform CloudFormation.
  

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  

4. Monitoring and Observability
   

• Implement and maintain monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog).
  

• Set up proactive alerting and reporting for system health and performance.
  

5. Security and Compliance
   

• Integrate security best practices into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).
  

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  

6. Collaboration and Mentorship
   

• Work closely with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  

• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  

7. Cost Optimization
   

• Optimize cloud and operational costs by analyzing resource usage and recommending improvements.
  

8. Incident Management
   

• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for system failures.
  

• Develop and maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  

Requirements

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI Harness ..etc)
  

• Experience with code quality security tools for pipelines and compliance.
  

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker Kubernetes Helm..etc).
  

• Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure).
  

• Expertise in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) and version control (e.g. Git).
  

• Proven expertise in tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
  

• Experience with tools like Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Datadog.
  

• Experience with security tools WAF ..etc.
  

• Ability to lead client audits for our products.
  

• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) GCP or equivalent.
