Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development systems administration and automation. You will be responsible for managing our development and production environments implementing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring the reliability scalability and security of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Manage and monitor cloudbased infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform Ansible or Chef.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system health performance and security and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
- Document processes configurations and procedures to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or CircleCI.
Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Ansible or Chef.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK stack or similar.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
