Job Description

JO&JOE is opening its new hostel in Budapest! And is looking for its next Entertainment Manager.
Come and write a page in the history of JO&JOE by being part of the opening team! The Entertainment Manager will initiate plan and manage unique events and contents in our cool public areas which will include ground floor restaurant and rooftop bar indoor and outdoor.

Why you

None of these missions will scare you:  

Entertainment

Mission 1: To identify local communities relevant to JO&JOE and engage with them to establish partnerships.

Mission 2: To organise music events by identifying successful or promising performers.

Mission 3: To plan and adapt event programming to all our guests from children to grandma.

Mission 4: To create and manage special events referring to specific dates in the calendar (Halloween Carnival) but also for any random occasion in order to increase JO&JOE Budapest brand awareness in the local market.

Mission 6: To manage invoicing & budgeting to ensure administrative aspects to all tasks related to the role.

 

Social Media

Mission 7: To liaise with JO&JOEs central marketing including the coordination of the content that is shared on social media.

Mission 8: To manage a social media content calendar.

Mission 9: To build and moderate social media communities by responding to comments and keeping members engaged.

Mission 10: To increase social media engagement across platforms.


Qualifications :

Because youve got it in you:

  • Your creativity is out of the box so your capabilities to produce events and contents from scratch.
  • A good event organizing experience your proactivity and your communication skills help you dealing with sound system problems or to enliven a place between two shows.
  • Optimism and smiling are two perfect ways to describe you.
  • The ability to attract and lead both locals and internationals to our space would be a strong advantage.
  • Any marketing experience or knowledge would be a plus.

YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS :

  • Level of study: Bachelor / Master / MBA.
  • Field of study: Event / Communication.
  • Professional experience: 3 to 5 years minimum in the entertainment sector mainly for event and entertainment venues or in entertainment management role.
  • Language required: intermediate level of English fluent in Hungarian.
