Job Description:

Augmentjobs is seeking a highly motivated and driven DCM (Debt Capital Markets) Associate to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our Debt Capital Markets division the DCM Associate will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in executing debt transactions including structuring pricing and distributing debt securities. You will work closely with clients to assess their financing needs and collaborate across various teams to deliver innovative capital market solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets solid analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to build a career in investment banking with a focus on debt capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of debt financing transactions including structuring and documentation of debt offerings.

  • Prepare financial models and presentations to support client discussions and pitches.

  • Conduct market and industry research to inform capital raising strategies.

  • Analyze financial statements and assess the creditworthiness of potential issuers.

  • Participate in the preparation of transactionrelated documents such as term sheets presentations and offering memorandums.

  • Coordinate with legal compliance and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients investors and other market participants.

Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or related field (Required)

  • MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification (Preferred)

Required Experience:
  • 25 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets Investment Banking or a related financial services role.

  • Handson experience in financial modeling structuring debt transactions and understanding of bond markets.

  • Previous experience working with corporate clients and institutional investors.

Skills:
  • Financial Modeling: Strong knowledge of building and analyzing complex financial models.

  • Market Research: Ability to conduct thorough industry and market research to inform decisionmaking.

  • Debt Structuring: Experience in structuring debt transactions and understanding of debt instruments.

  • Presentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing presentations for clients investors and internal stakeholders.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial statements and assess creditworthiness.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and transaction documents.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
