Job Description: Risk Consulting Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented Risk Consulting Analyst to join our dynamic consulting team. In this role you will assist clients in identifying assessing and managing risks across various sectors. You will contribute to the development of risk management strategies and solutions providing critical insights to help organizations mitigate potential threats and optimize their risk posture. As a Risk Consulting Analyst you will work on projects across a wide range of industries gaining exposure to financial operational regulatory and strategic risk areas.
- Conduct indepth risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks including operational financial regulatory and strategic risks.
- Analyze internal and external factors that could impact client organizations including market trends regulatory changes and economic conditions.
- Develop risk models and scenarios to assess the potential impact of identified risks on client businesses.
- Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies that align with clients business objectives and risk tolerance.
- Provide recommendations on risk mitigation techniques including controls processes and systems to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Help clients prioritize risks and allocate resources effectively to manage highpriority threats.
- Support clients in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards including financial regulations data protection laws and industryspecific requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations on risk exposure risk management activities and compliance status for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed on changes to regulatory frameworks and assess their impact on client operations.
- Assist in the implementation of risk monitoring frameworks using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track risk levels and control effectiveness.
- Help prepare risk reports and dashboards for clients providing clear and actionable insights into the risk environment.
- Monitor emerging risks and provide early warnings and recommendations to clients on potential actions to mitigate new risks.
- Conduct research on industry best practices in risk management and risk mitigation strategies.
- Benchmark client risk management strategies against industry standards and provide insights on opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on trends in risk management technologies tools and methodologies providing clients with cuttingedge solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business risk landscape and risk management needs.
- Participate in client meetings providing insights and helping to translate complex risk data into understandable actionable information.
- Assist in preparing deliverables including presentations reports and strategic recommendations to communicate risk analysis and mitigation strategies to clients.
- Bachelors degree in Risk Management Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with an interest in risk management compliance or consulting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and evaluate their potential impact.
- Proficiency in Excel financial modeling and risk analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present risk data and strategies clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks including COSO ISO 31000 or similar.
- Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g. SOX GDPR) is a plus.
- Proactive resultsoriented approach with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings and with clients.
- Passionate about risk management and helping clients manage uncertainty.
- Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fastpaced dynamic consulting environment.
