Job Description: Summer Growth Equity Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented individual to join our team as a Summer Growth Equity Analyst. This internship offers an immersive experience in growth equity investing providing exposure to fastgrowing companies and the strategies that drive their success. As a Summer Analyst you will work closely with our investment team contributing to deal sourcing evaluation and portfolio management activities.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and investment opportunities in highgrowth sectors.
- Analyze business models financial performance and market positioning of potential investment targets.
- Build and refine financial models including valuations and sensitivity analyses to assess investment opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in the due diligence process including analyzing financial statements conducting market assessments and evaluating competitive dynamics.
- Support the team in organizing and managing data rooms and coordinating with thirdparty advisors.
- Assess operational risks and growth drivers of potential investments.
- Monitor the performance of portfolio companies by analyzing financial and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with portfolio company teams to identify opportunities for growth and operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate portfolio performance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior members of the team to support all stages of the investment process.
- Contribute to the development of sector theses and growth strategies.
- Participate in team discussions to provide insights and propose innovative solutions.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field.
- Strong academic performance with coursework or experience in financial analysis investment management or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and data platforms such as PitchBook or Capital IQ is a plus.
- Detailoriented highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A passion for growth equity investing and highgrowth businesses.
- Selfstarter with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Collaborative and teamoriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about emerging markets and innovative business models.
