Job Description: Senior Growth Equity Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Senior Growth Equity Analyst to join our dynamic investment team. This role is integral to identifying and executing investment opportunities in highgrowth companies as well as supporting portfolio companies in scaling their operations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills a deep understanding of financial markets and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and portfolio company management teams.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and assess investment opportunities in highgrowth companies across various sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders entrepreneurs and intermediaries to source deal flow.
- Evaluate investment opportunities by analyzing financial statements building detailed financial models and assessing market trends.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to understand growth drivers market positioning and scalability.
- Lead components of the deal process including due diligence valuation and structuring of investments.
- Work closely with internal and external advisors to execute transactions efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare investment committee presentations articulating investment theses risks and returns.
- Collaborate with portfolio company management teams to monitor financial performance and implement strategic initiatives.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation.
- Support the development and execution of growth strategies including market expansion operational improvements and acquisitions.
- Stay updated on industry trends market dynamics and competitive landscapes to inform investment strategies.
- Contribute to the development of sector theses and investment frameworks.
- Mentor and guide junior team members providing feedback and support in their professional development.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or a related field (required).
- MBA or other advanced degree (preferred).
- 3 5 years of experience in growth equity private equity investment banking management consulting or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in deal evaluation execution and portfolio management.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills including DCF precedent transactions and comparable company analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and relevant financial databases (e.g. PitchBook Capital IQ).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growthstage companies and investment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with a resultsoriented and proactive approach.
