Job Description
Duties: Exp Range : Minimum 5years CW will need to work onsite from day 1 at Cedar Rapids Iowa. Due to nature of the project we need only USC for this role. (Secret Security Clearance preferred) Please put answers of these questions on top of each resume you submit. What is your experience designing highspeed circuits with FPGA processors DDR memory and protocols like Ethernet PCIe USB LVDS and SERDES How do you ensure compliance with military specifications Which schematic and PCB design tools are you skilled in and when did you last use them Describe the most complex PCB youve designed including layer count and challenges. How do you handle bringup testing troubleshooting and integration of designs What is your experience with requirements Verification and Validation and which tools have you used for this What is your experience with military or avionics compliance processes and standards like DO254 etc Job Details: Design and implement highreliability electronic systems including PCBs embedded systems and power electronics. Lead and perform all aspects of circuit card design lifecycle activities including requirements capture schematic capture component selection signal integrity analysis simulations timing analysis and thermal analysis. Generate PCB layout constraint guidelines routing instructions creation of board stackup and oversee the routing layout fabrication and assembly of complex designs. Creation of test plans root cause analysis and testing of electronic circuits and systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardwarerelated issues during development and testing phases. Design circuit cards using FPGA processor and DDR memory components as well as industry interfaces such as Ethernet PCIe I2C USB LVDS and SERDES bus technologies. Work collaboratively with team members and independently on assigned tasks. Utilize schematic capture tools for the creation of circuit card designs such as Siemens Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and/or Xpedition Altium Cadence Allegro EAGLE KiCAD etc. Familiarity with Agile for Hardware Development including planning tracking and managing hardware development projects in JIRA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word Excel and PowerPoint. Hardware Verification and Validation of highlevel and lowlevel requirements complying with DO254 standards. Compliance with industry standards and regulations including DO254 and DO160. Experience working with requirement management tools like IBM Doors Jama.
