Job Description
As a Customer Support Representative you ll be at the forefront of our client s operations handling a high volume of inquiries and providing topnotch service to a diverse customer base. You ll manage phone calls and emails offer accurate quotes and guide customers through the transport process for various vehicles and equipment. This role requires a blend of customer service skills basic knowledge of vehicle types and the ability to navigate specialized software. You ll work in a fastpaced environment collaborating with a global team to ensure seamless 18hour coverage 7 days a week. This position offers the unique opportunity to gain expertise in the transport industry while developing your customer service and problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails promptly providing information about vehicle and equipment transport services
- Generate accurate quotes for a wide range of transport requests from cars and boats to heavy machinery
- Manage customer inquiries and bookings using Freshdesk and Dialpad systems
- Follow up on voicemail messages and return customer calls in a timely manner
- Explain the benefits and processes of various transport services to potential clients
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of customer interactions efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure continuous customer support coverage
- Assist with processing and tracking shipments providing updates to customers as needed
- Adapt to handling inquiries for multiple brands and microsites within the company
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a neutral accent for clear phone interactions
- Basic knowledge of various vehicle types (cars trucks boats RVs) and transport terminology
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse customer needs
- Proficiency in using customer service software particularly Freshdesk (training provided)
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problemsolving skills and the capacity to make decisions independently
- Reliable highspeed internet connection for remote work
- Flexibility to work in shifts covering Australian time zones
- Bilingual skills (especially Mandarin) are a plus but not required
