About the Role
We are hiring a General Sales Manager for our direct client a leader in the solar industry serving residential and commercial customers. This role involves leading a team of 20 sales executives driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The position is primarily remote with weekly inoffice collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage coach and inspire a team of 20 sales executives to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies focused on the residential and commercial solar markets.
- Drive business growth by identifying opportunities building relationships and optimizing sales performance.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent communication understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Monitor sales metrics analyze team performance and provide constructive feedback to improve outcomes.
- Conduct regular training sessions to strengthen the teams knowledge of solar solutions and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Stay informed about industry trends competitive landscape and new technologies in the solar space.
- Work closely with marketing operations and customer service teams to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Proven ability to manage and grow highperforming sales teams.
- Strong knowledge of solar energy systems for residential and commercial customers.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
