Title: Data Entry Clerk
Duration: 3 months Possible Extension
Location: El Paso TX
Shift: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 5 pm ( OT as needed including Saturday)
What Youll Do: Accurately input and maintain data into databases and systems ensuring integrity and efficiency of information management.
Functions:
- Enter alphanumeric data from various sources into computer databases and spreadsheets with precision and speed
- Verify the accuracy of data input and correct any errors or discrepancies
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files and records according to established procedures
- Retrieve and extract information from databases and files as needed
- Assist in compiling and organizing data for reports presentations or analysis
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
- Follow data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of work
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent
- 13 years of experience in data entry or clerical roles
- Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with computer software and basic office equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems
Preferred Skills:
- Associate degree or certification in Office Administration Information Technology or related field
- Experience with data entry software or systems (e.g. Microsoft Excel Access)
- Knowledge of basic database concepts and terminology
- Familiarity with data entry best practices and quality control procedures
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
