Job Description

Title: Data Entry Clerk
Duration: 3 months Possible Extension
Location: El Paso TX
Shift: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 5 pm ( OT as needed including Saturday)

What Youll Do:
Accurately input and maintain data into databases and systems ensuring integrity and efficiency of information management.

Functions:
  • Enter alphanumeric data from various sources into computer databases and spreadsheets with precision and speed
  • Verify the accuracy of data input and correct any errors or discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper files and records according to established procedures
  • Retrieve and extract information from databases and files as needed
  • Assist in compiling and organizing data for reports presentations or analysis
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Follow data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of work
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 13 years of experience in data entry or clerical roles
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with computer software and basic office equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems

Preferred Skills:
  • Associate degree or certification in Office Administration Information Technology or related field
  • Experience with data entry software or systems (e.g. Microsoft Excel Access)
  • Knowledge of basic database concepts and terminology
  • Familiarity with data entry best practices and quality control procedures
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
