Job Description
The Duty Engineer ensures the seamless operation and maintenance of all residences facilities and systems. This role involves overseeing daily technical operations addressing and resolving maintenance issues promptly and ensuring that all equipment and infrastructure meet the high standards of the brand. The Duty Engineer also collaborates with various departments to anticipate and resolve potential problems conduct routine inspections and manage emergency repairs. Their goal is to provide a consistently exceptional guest experience by maintaining a safe efficient and wellfunctioning environment all while adhering to the rigorous quality standards set by the residences.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Civil or related fields).
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 35 years in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferably in a luxury hotel or residences.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintenance software and systems with handson experience in HVAC electrical plumbing and general building maintenance.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as HVAC Electrical or Plumbing certifications are highly desirable.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in supervising and coordinating maintenance staff and contractors.
- Communication and Customer Service Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and residences staff.
- Flexibility and ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays with excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving abilities.
