Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse Operating Room to join our surgical team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care to surgical patients ensuring the highest standards in a fastpaced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in surgical procedures leadership in patient care coordination and a commitment to quality improvement initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver highquality patientcentered care in a surgical setting.
- Coordinate and ensure continuity of care throughout all phases of surgery.
- Act as a resource for staff and facilitate problemsolving within the OR.
- Participate in and lead Quality Improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Support staff education and compliance with hospital policies and OR protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal surgical care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with a focus on surgical or operating room care.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and OR protocols.
- Proven ability to lead mentor and support subordinate staff.
- Experience with Quality Improvement processes and initiatives.
- (Preferred) Experience in a multisuite OR environment and advanced certifications like CNOR.
