Job Description:
- Perform laboratory support functions.
Specific Requirements:
- This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for invitro diagnostic assays.
- Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
- Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Peform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness operation and safety. Including:
- Supports production operations with routine stocking cleaning of manufacturing areas other lab support duties
- Low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance equipment maintenance and/or cleaning)
- Glassware washing
- Material innventory monitoring support
- Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule
- Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed
- 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness maintenance and organization expectations
- High school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience or B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management possess well developed interpersonal skills demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and exhibit attention to detail.
