Job Description

Position Summary

The Head of Commercial is responsible for driving the companys revenue growth by leading commercial strategies managing key partnerships and ensuring alignment between business goals and market opportunities. This role involves overseeing sales marketing pricing and business development functions to maximize profitability and market share.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute the companys commercial strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends competitive landscapes and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align commercial strategies with organizational goals.
Revenue Growth and Business Development
  • Lead the sales and business development teams to secure key accounts and expand market presence.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Oversee the development and execution of pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
Team Management and Collaboration
  • Build lead and motivate a highperforming commercial team.
  • Foster collaboration across departments including marketing finance and operations to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for team performance and provide ongoing feedback and development.
Market and Customer Focus
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure customercentric approaches in sales and marketing initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance including revenue margins and cost efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on commercial performance and present findings to the executive team.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial or business leadership roles with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities.
    • Excellent negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
    • Leadership experience in managing crossfunctional teams.
    • Proficiency in datadriven decisionmaking and financial analysis.
