Job Description
Director of Revenue Management
We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue Management to join our team at the fivestar Fairmont Jakarta. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue optimization strategies to maximize our Hotels financial performance.
What you will be doing:
- Lead the development and execution of revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory across all channels.
- Analyze market trends competitive landscape and historical data to forecast demand and make informed pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing and Operations teams to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
- Oversee the management of distribution channels and partnerships to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.
- Implement and optimize revenue management systems and tools to enhance decisionmaking processes.
- Present revenue performance reports and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in hotel revenue management to maintain a competitive edge.
- Drive the hotel annual budgeting process and ensure adherence to financial targets.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics Hospitality Management or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management in a fivestar hotel establishment or a related field with a proven track record of success.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue optimization strategies and techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in hotel revenue management systems Microsoft Office suite and data visualization tools (IDEAS G3 TARS etc).
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing and developing highperforming teams.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make decisive datadriven decisions.
- Indepth knowledge of market dynamics and industry trends.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a must.
- Having a certification in Food & Beverage Revenue Management is high priority.
