Job Description
NEWM is building a communityowned Web3 music ecosystem designed to connect artists directly with their supporterseliminating middlemen and replacing them with transparent profitneutral code. Our mission is to empower artists to fully own and monetize their work while fostering a fairer music industry.
To achieve this we are developing a multilevel platform powered by decentralized services that allow artists to publish distribute promote fund and launch their music independently. As an earlystage startup our dedicated team of 50 international members spans marketing finance technology development and design. We are a remotefirst company offering a flexible inclusive and supportive work environment.
Just so you know as we are not yet fully funded all parttime roles are currently compensated in NEWM Tokens. You can learn more about NEWM Tokens at our website and well be happy to get more into detail when talking to you.
We are looking for a parttime (10 hours per week) HR senior starting from December 2024 or January 2025 to help us with:
Tasks
- Creating a positive Team Culture which is aligned with the NEWM values;
- Managing Partner engagement and communication strategies that will attract engage and develop team members;
- The hiring process (posting selecting choosing candidates);
- Onboarding and offboarding
- Restructuring consulting;
- Creating workshops for team development;
- Facilitate a positive team culture meeting our teammates listening to them and helping them by handling feedback talks
Requirements
- Strong interest in people and values like equality inclusion and transparency
- Fluent in English
- Preview experience on the position
- High degree of empathy
- Problemsolving and handson mentality
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- From anywhere in planet Earth but preferably located in Brazil Argentina Paraguay Uruguay or Greenland.
