Job Summary:
The Warranty In charge will oversee the warranty claims process ensuring effective coordination with vendors and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role demands strong technical knowledge of vehicle components and a commitment to resolving customer complaints efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Management:
o
Ensure full coordination with VECV and proprietary item vendors to secure timely warranty benefits.
o
Monitor and manage the warranty claims process to ensure adherence to company policies.
Customer Satisfaction:
o
Ensure timely settlement of warranty claims to enhance customer satisfaction levels.
o
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to warranty claims professionally and effectively.
Post Sales Service/Customer Complaint Reporting:
o
Prepare and transmit weekly reports on warranty claims submitting findings to the technical service department for corrective actions.
o
Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate the resolution of product issues identified through warranty claims.
Tools Management:
o
Maintain proper stock levels of required tools managing calibration schedules to ensure timely and accurate repairs on vehicles.
o
Coordinate with the service team to ensure all tools are available and functioning correctly.
Knowledge and Skills:
Technical Knowledge:
o
Strong understanding of vehicle products particularly aggregates and driveline components.
o
Familiarity with warranty policies and procedures.
Behavioral Skills:
o
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
o
Strong customer complaint resolution abilities ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
o
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to identify trends and issues in warranty claims.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years
