Accountant Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns for individuals sole proprietors farms corporations partnerships estates and trusts.
- Respond to IRS notices.
- Meet with clients for business consulting and tax planning.
- Review financial statements for clients.
- Address client inquiries.
- Fulltime: 8 hours/day onsite in our Columbus NE office location
- Pay: $50k$100k depending on experience and certifications.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in accounting is preferred (only 120 hours required).
- 2 years of accounting experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.
