Job Description
Job Title: Senior Accountant Assurance Services/Accounting & Auditing
Location: Beachwood Ohio
Job Type: OnSite
Duration: FullTime
JOB INSIGHT:
We are a growing accounting tax and consulting firm.
We are currently looking to add progressive Accounting & Auditing Accountants at the Senior level to our Assurance team.
The ideal candidate will be a team player first and foremost and help our expanding assurance department grow!
Responsibilities:
- Candidate must be able to assist in the performance of audits reviews and compilations for privately held businesses and be versed in current accounting standards.
- Must be able to prepare audited reviewed and compiled financial statements.
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
- Provide supervision training and support to the engagement staff and promote open communication to the engagement partner and manager
Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Accounting along with strong analytical time management communication and PC skills including proficiency with MS Office is required.
- Candidates must be well versed in current accounting standards with the ability to effectively manage engagements and professionally represent the firm during client visits.
- CPA or CPA Candidate (120 hours completed)
- 2 plus years public accounting experience including at least 2 busy seasons.
- Professionalism integrity and a positive attitude are essential
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Develops and maintains outstanding client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements in a rapidly growing fastpaced interactive resultsbased team environment
- Excellent analytical organizational project management skills and strong attention to detail
