  • Licensure: Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and represent clients in PI and Elder Law cases.
  • Provide sound legal advice and build lasting client relationships.
  • Draft review and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • Collaborate with our legal team on multipractice cases including business real estate and immigration law.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on a range of issues including Estate Planning (Personal injury) PI Elder Law.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools to support case preparation.
  • Draft review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in litigation proceedings ensuring their rights are protected throughout the process.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients interests particularly in Elder law.
  • Collaborate with staff within the law office to develop comprehensive legal strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Experience in a law office setting is preferred; experience with is a plus.
  • Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research databases.
  • Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in litigating cases with successful outcomes is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to think critically under pressure.
