Position Overview: Head of Hotel Operations (m/f)

As the Head of Hotel Operations you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service operational efficiency and financial success. Your leadership will drive the performance of our properties fostering an environment of excellence and innovation aligned with our company s vision and brand standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and enhance guest satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with the executive team on preopening and opening strategies for new hotel projects.
  • Operational Oversight:

    • Oversee daytoday hotel operations including front office housekeeping food and beverage and engineering.
    • Ensure adherence to brand standards and company policies across all departments.
  • Performance Management:

    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
    • Implement action plans to address any identified challenges.
  • Financial Accountability:

    • Prepare and manage budgets financial forecasts and business plans.
    • Drive revenue growth while optimizing cost management.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead mentor and develop departmental managers and teams to foster a culture of collaboration excellence and accountability.
    • Ensure effective recruitment training and retention strategies.
  • Guest Experience:

    • Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction addressing feedback and complaints to enhance service delivery consistently.
  • Systems and Technology:

    • Oversee the implementation and optimization of hotel management systems and processes.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation.
  • Stakeholder Relations:

    • Build and maintain relationships with owners partners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Requisitos

What We re Looking For

  • Experience:

    • 10 years in hospitality with at least 5 years in senior management roles within established hotel chains.
    • Proven expertise in hotel operations including peropening and opening experience.
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and operational workflows.
    • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and P&L management.
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate teams effectively.
    • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
    • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Education:
    Degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field.
