About the Role:
We are looking for a fulltime Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. This is a fully remote role with the flexibility to work from home. However the recruiter will be required to visit the Manila office once a month for inperson meetings and team collaboration. We are seeking someone who can grow into a more comprehensive role over time where you will not only focus on recruitment but also take on responsibilities in areas such as sales marketing and basic HR. You will be instrumental in implementing and streamlining hiring practices improving our applicant tracking system (ATS) and helping shape the recruitment process for the company’s future growth.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing:
Actively source talented software engineers and technical leads through various channels including job boards networking events social media and direct outreach. Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled candidates who match the company’s technical and cultural requirements. - Initial Screening:
Conduct phone screens with candidates to evaluate their experience technical skills and cultural fit. Provide insights and recommendations to the hiring team to streamline the recruitment process. - Employer Brand Promotion:
Enhance the company's employer brand through social media content job postings and event attendance. Represent the company at industry conferences career fairs and other networking events to attract top talent. - Marketing & HR:
Assist in marketing tasks to promote the company’s brand and values. Help set up HR systems to ensure smooth recruitment and onboarding processes. - Potential Sales/Marketing Hiring:
As the company scales there may be a need for recruitment in other departments such as sales and marketing where you could contribute.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical recruiting preferably within the software engineering or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of technical roles especially software engineering and technical leadership.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with candidates.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter).
- Passionate about brand building and representing the company positively across channels.
Nice to Haves:
- Understanding of design roles (UI/UX designers) as there may be future recruitment needs for design roles.
