Job Description:

We are looking for a Test Engineer for our client in the defense industry.

Assignment Description:

• Functional testing of electronics primarily designed for military applications mainly inhouse manufactured products and test equipment.
• Testing of subunits (e.g. circuit boards waveguides).
• Delivery and unit testing at various levels.
• Measurement of microwave modules.
• Highpower measurements in power units.
• Troubleshooting down to component level using advanced instruments and equipment.
• Administration of test results and fault reporting in designated systems.
• Assisting in maintenance and development of test equipment/test station responsibilities.
• Initiating direct contact with design and/or support teams in case of test issues.
• Collaborating with product development.
• The work may include personal analysis evaluations and actions.
• Writing and if necessary driving observation reports/NonCompliance Reports (NCR).
• Actively working on streamlining and improvements.
• Reviewing correcting and if required writing test instructions.
• Collaborating on production testrelated aspects in the development process.
• Providing technical expertise in deviation investigations.
• Participating in FAAT/FAT with end customers including FAI inspections.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Secondary education (electronicsfocused) some academic training and/or experience in similar tasks related to electronics testing or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
• Experience with RF (radio frequency).
• The client is looking for both junior and senior candidates.
• The position requires security clearance in accordance with current security regulations. For roles requiring placement in a security class specific citizenship may be required.
