Job Title: SAP IBP S&OP Consultant Job Location: Insert Location Job Type: FullTime/Contract/Temporary Job Overview:We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP IBP S&OP Consultant to join our team. This role will be responsible for the implementation configuration and support of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) modules with a specific focus on Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to streamline and enhance planning processes ensuring alignment between sales supply chain and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:-
S&OP Process Design & Implementation:
Lead and manage the design configuration and implementation of SAP IBP solutions focused on S&OP processes ensuring effective collaboration across sales operations finance and supply chain teams. -
Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements understand current business processes and translate those into IBP configuration requirements. -
System Configuration & Customization:
Configure and customize SAP IBP for demand planning supply planning inventory optimization and S&OP processes ensuring the solution meets the specific needs of the business. -
Demand and Supply Planning:
Manage the planning processes focusing on forecasting demand sensing supply planning and balancing supply and demand with an emphasis on improving visibility efficiency and accuracy. -
S&OP Process Optimization:
Facilitate S&OP cycles working with stakeholders to ensure effective demandsupply balancing and decisionmaking processes incorporating risk management scenario analysis and performance tracking. -
Data Integration:
Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP IBP with other enterprise systems including SAP ECC SAP S/4HANA and other thirdparty applications. -
Reporting & Analytics:
Set up and manage IBP dashboards KPIs and reporting solutions to provide realtime insights into S&OP performance supporting business decisionmaking. -
User Training & Support:
Provide training and support to endusers helping them maximize the capabilities of SAP IBP and ensuring system adoption. -
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement system enhancements and optimization of IBP functionality based on ongoing analysis of business requirements.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) with a focus on S&OP processes.
- Proven track record in SAP IBP S&OP implementation or consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of demand planning supply planning inventory management and S&OP processes.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in SAP IBP including its configuration and integration aspects.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience with IBP forecasting and demand planning models is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex issues.
- Ability to work in crossfunctional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or related field is required.
- SAP IBP certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules like SAP APO SAP MM and SAP SD.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology for project implementation.
- Ability to design and implement forecasting models using IBP.
