Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BODS Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) to design develop and implement data integration and transformation solutions. As an SAP BODS Developer you will work closely with business users ETL developers and project teams to ensure highquality scalable and efficient solutions for data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes.

• Design and Development:

  • Develop and implement ETL solutions using SAP BODS to transform cleanse and integrate data from multiple sources into target systems.
  • Work with business and technical teams to gather requirements and understand data transformation needs.
  • Develop test and deploy data integration workflows jobs and data flows in SAP BODS.

• Data Integration & Transformation:

  • Build maintain and optimize data flows data transformations and complex mapping logic.
  • Design and develop realtime and batch data integration processes for largescale data migrations and data warehouse implementations.
  • Perform data validation cleansing and transformations to meet business requirements and ensure data accuracy.

• Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize data extraction and transformation processes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot analyze and resolve datarelated issues and bottlenecks in ETL workflows.

• Testing and Debugging:

  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing of ETL jobs.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to data extraction transformation and loading.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure data quality and consistency.

• Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain documentation for developed ETL processes including data mappings transformations and job flows.
  • Generate reports and insights on ETL job execution failure resolution and data quality metrics.

• Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with data architects data modelers and database administrators to ensure data integration solutions are scalable secure and optimized.
  • Work with business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings code reviews and collaborative development sessions.

• Maintenance and Support:

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the existing SAP BODS workflows and ETL processes.
  • Address production issues data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks as required.

• SAP BODS Expertise:

  • Proven experience working with SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for ETL development.
  • Handson experience with data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes using BODS.
  • Familiarity with BODS components including Data Services Designer Management Console and Repository Manager.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
  • Strong knowledge of databases such as SAP HANA SQL Server Oracle or other relational databases.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts data modeling and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP HANA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like JavaScript Python or Java for custom transformations is a plus.

• Business & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data quality data governance and data management principles.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective data integration and transformation solutions.

• Problem Solving and Optimization:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Strong performance tuning experience in ETL jobs and large datasets.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 24 years of handson experience in SAP BODS development.
• SAP BODS certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience with SAP Data Services in a cloud environment (SAP Cloud Platform AWS Azure etc.).
• Experience with SAP BW SAP HANA or SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Data Intelligence or other SAP data integration tools is a plus.
