WHAT YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
- Lead the architectural and consultant team during construction administration
- Responsible for the office and field administration of the contract for construction. Ensures that the construction is in keeping with the design intent.
- Participate engage and communicate with clients and consultants
- Review shop drawings submittals; and other construction related communications
- Coordination of building systems with consultants and construction team
- Assist with preparation of field reports RFIs PRs and ASIs
- Prepare supplemental drawings to support construction
- Perform and assist with firms QA/QC activities for all architectural elements
- Conduct and document field observations to monitor progress of construction
LEADERSHIP AND ADVANCEMENT
- Ability to manage and adjust to a projects variety of design decisions in a timely manner
- Manage one or more projects
- Serve as a mentor to junior staff and intern architects
- Participate in production and construction meetings to develop office and BIM standards
- Develop personally and professionally to continue to advance in your career
ABOUT YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Advanced knowledge of construction methodology material selection and application and architectural building systems
- Proficient in AIA documents such as A101 A201 and B101 and administration of contracts
- Knowledge of pay applications pay requests and contractor scheduling
- Working knowledge of civil structural mechanical and electrical engineering; building codes and costs
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM required
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Participate as a team leader and work in a team environment
- Proficiency in building codes
- Knowledge of Electronic Submittal Software (BIM 360; Submittal Exchange; PROCORE)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams)
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam
- Experience managing multiple projects and effectively meeting deadlines and schedules
- Ability to travel 24 days per month regionally and nationally
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors or masters degree in architecture or engineering from an accredited program
- 7 plus years experience working on mid to largescale projects preferred
- Professional registration with current license preferred
