The Lakhani Group a leading organization in hotel development and construction is seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Portugal. Job Summary:
As a Junior Civil Engineer you will work closely with senior engineers to support the design planning and execution of construction projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure compliance with technical safety and quality standards while delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Support:Assist in preparing technical drawings calculations specifications and reports.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all project activities meet local regulations safety standards and company guidelines.
- Site Supervision:Monitor onsite construction activities and report progress to senior engineers.
- Material Testing:Conduct inspections and tests on construction materials to confirm adherence to project requirements.
- Planning Assistance:Contribute to developing project schedules and budgets.
- Problem Solving:Assist in identifying and addressing construction challenges.
- Collaboration:Work alongside architects contractors and project managers to implement project plans effectively.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate records of project activities including site reports and compliance documents.

Qualifications and Skills
- Education:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Registration:Mandatory registration with the Portuguese Order of Engineers (Ordem dos Engenheiros).
- Experience:02 years of experience in civil engineering or construction (internship experience is also considered).
- Languages:Fluency in Portuguese is required; proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar tools.
- Knowledge:Basic understanding of construction techniques materials and safety regulations.
- Teamwork:Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Problem Solving:Analytical mindset to identify and address engineering challenges.
- Adaptability:Willingness to learn and contribute in a fastpaced environment.
