Job Responsibilities
1. The QA Engineer will administer the company quality program to continually improve the quality level of products and services to achieve total customer satisfaction.
2. Establish and implement quality plans and procedures to achieve required level of product quality reliability and safety.
3. Manage product quality assurance conduct production line audit periodically and work with process owners on internal quality issues ICR INCR outgoing rejects
4. Facilitate quality improvement and problem solving programs
5. Identify initiate and champion the resolution of crossfunctional issues through the development and implementation of systems or procedures
6. Support customer and 3rd party audit to the plant with respect to the process and product quality under the care
7. As an ISO9001 Internal Auditor
8. Spearhead Line QRQC improvements to improve process s
9. Manage and follow through customer complaints through 8D report and ensure issues resolved and 8D report closed timely and satisfactorily
10. Validates the complaint;
11. Provides containment action plan within one working day;
12. Works with the process engineer production executive & APU manager on 8D report and responds to the customer within 5 working days using QRQC methodology
13. Closely followingup with the customer on 8D till customer s acceptance / closure;
14. In the event of customer s request to present the 8D report to the customer & if required together with respective process engineer;
15. Updates the complaint details (e.g. root causes containment action permanent CA) into Lynx if the complaint is logged into Lynx.
16. Review and understand key process quality documents such as PFMEA Process Control Plan Inspection Standards etc and perform periodical audit
17. Respond to customer s requests such as customer surveys PPAP OGI reports etc.
Job Requirement
1. Diploma holders with 4 or more years of related experiences in a manufacturing environment
2. Degree holders with more than 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
3. Experience in implementing ISO9001 ISO14001 and ISO/IATF16949 is essential
4. Experience in TQM implementation is needed
5. Knowledge in assembly process experience in PCBA or connector assembly will be an added advantage
6. Knowledge of SPC application and experience in conducting quality audits essential
7. Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills and team orientated
8. Knowledge in manufacturing preferably in electronics parts assembly process experience in PCBA or connector assembly will be added advantage
9. Good knowledge of Quality tools such as SPC and 7 QC tools
10. Understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO/IATF16949 quality system is essential
11. Able to work independently
