Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Middleware Management:
- Implement configure and maintain middleware solutions (e.g. Apache/Confluent Kafka IBM MQ RabbitMQ Message Broker).
- Implement configure and maintain NoSQL databases like Aerospike Redis etc.
- Implement configure and maintain distributed search and analytics engine like Elasticsearch.
System Integration:
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement integration solutions that connect disparate systems ensuring smooth data flow and reduced latency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve middlewarerelated issues across complex IT environments.
Performance Tuning:
- Conduct performance tuning capacity planning and load balancing of middleware platforms.
- Monitor system health and optimize middleware processes to ensure reliability and uptime.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure the secure configuration and integration of middleware technologies including encryption authentication and access control.
- Stay uptodate with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g. PCIDSS ISO).
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for middleware configurations policies and procedures.
- Provide regular status reports performance metrics and troubleshooting updates to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with infrastructure teams application developers and business units to understand integration needs and challenges.
- Provide second or thirdline support for middlewarerelated incidents and requests.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in middleware technologies like Apache/Confluent Kafka IBM MQ.
- Expertise in NoSQL databases like Aerospike Redis
- Expertise in distributed search and analytics engine like Elasticsearch
- Experience with messageoriented middleware (MOM) web services and API management.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs SOAP and JSON/XML for communication protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell scripting or Bash for automation tasks.
- Understanding of microservices architecture cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
