Job Description

As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist you will:
  • Maintain and secure the legacy NetIQ NAM (NetIQ Access Manager) system to ensure system integrity.
  • Plan communicate and organize the migration of applications from NAM with the goal of decommissioning NAM in the near future.
  • Migrate and integrate applications into Okta using protocols such as SAML OpenID Connect and SCIM.
  • Collaborate with the product architect to refine and implement enablers for product backlog features.
  • Actively participate in Scrum events to ensure Agile team alignment and productivity.
  • Support the Product Owner (PO) in realizing designed functionalities according to defined specifications.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and migration of applications for Access Management (AM).
  • Adhere to and advocate for best practices in authentication authorization and access management.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 6 8 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with Access Management (AM) tools.
  • Handson experience with REST APIs and protocols such as SCIM OAuth and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Proficiency in using NetIQ Access Manager or familiarity with technologies like Apache Tomcat Java and reverse proxy setups.
  • Basic Linux knowledge (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of authentication authorization and access management processes.
  • Proven experience with application migrations and onboarding within Access Management systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
  • Indepth knowledge of security technologies best practices and security policy frameworks.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Effectively secure and maintain legacy systems while facilitating migrations to modern solutions.
  • Plan organize and communicate complex application migration projects.
  • Apply modern integration techniques like SAML OpenID Connect and SCIM for connecting applications to Okta.
  • Collaborate with architects and Product Owners to refine and deliver technical solutions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues during migration and onboarding processes.
  • Advocate and implement best practices in cybersecurity and identity management.
