The Building Design Structural Engineer will play a vital role in the rapid growth of our clients firm located in West Austin. This position is suited for an EIT or a recently licensed PE with experience in Revit and the design of educational municipal and commercial buildings. The successful candidate will be engaged in various projects ensuring that structural designs meet client requirements and project specifications.

Skills
- Proficient in Revit for building design

Responsibilities
- Design buildings for commercial municipal and educational purposes using Revit
- Visit construction sites to ensure compliance with design plans
- Communicate project status effectively with all stakeholders
- Interact with project owners to gather feedback and address design needs
- Support the PE in project meetings and activities as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in building design across various sectors (commercial multifamily retail residential municipal)
- EIT or recent PE designation is preferred
- Previous experience with Revit is highly desirable
- Bachelors degree required; a masters degree is a plus
- Must be dedicated energetic and eager to grow with the team
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or related field required
- Masters degree is considered a plus

Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural building design including commercial and municipal projects
- Experience working with Revit is highly advantageous
