Key Responsibilities:
- Lead build and motivate a team of Data Analytics and Business Intelligence analysts to ensure success across a wide range of projects.
- Act as an advisor to data and analytics developers to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
- Recommend changes to data policies and establish procedures that impact the data and analytics community.
- Lead the implementation of new data and analytics solutions enhancements and upgrades to ensure smooth migrations from development to production environments.
- Manage workload and resource allocation across all data and analytics projects.
- Develop and administer project schedules and performance requirements ensuring accountability for the teams performance.
- Coordinate the activities of the team ensuring results including costs methods and staffing.
Key Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in data analytics with at least 5 years leading technical teams to deliver innovative solutions. Prior experience in healthcare analytics is highly desirable.
- Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customercentric solutions.
- Resilient willing to take action and able to manage complexity.
- Strong analytical and visualization skills with handson experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Solid understanding of SQL and basic familiarity with popular Python and R languages.
- Certifications in relevant tools and models (e.g. Epic Cogito Caboodle Clarity Clinical Data Model) are a plus.
Core Skills:
- Experience working with multiple departments (IT clinical research etc.) to align data strategies with business needs.
- Strong organizational skills to manage complex analytics projects prioritize tasks and deliver results within deadlines.
- Ability to identify trends patterns and anomalies in data to solve complex business challenges.
- Ability to evaluate processes and make improvements to enhance data quality efficiency and value.
- Experience engaging with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to influence decisionmaking and strategy.
