Hiire is helping Blip a leading tech company focused on software engineering solutions for sports entertainment hire a Senior Backend Engineerfor their team to guide and support the department.

As a Backend Engineer you are part of an agile Software Development Team responsible for the full lifecycle of an application using cuttingedge technologies to deliver amazing value to our customers while scaling our platform to meet the demands of worldwide markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing flowcharts layouts and documentation to support the Product Owner with requirements and the team with solutions;
Developing unit component and integrated tests with the guidance of the teams QA you can expect to execute the full software development lifecycle;
Programming welldesigned testable efficient code to solve business needs and deploy applications in a Continuous Integration platform;
Testing and documenting the implemented solutions will be a big part of your daytoday;
Mentoring other developers peer programming andguiding them on the tasks;
Availability for oncall responsibilities.
Your Qualifications Must Have
At least 5 years of experience in Java;
Previous team management experience;
- Experience with some or all of the following:
Scala;
Kafka;
Akka;
Memcached;
Apache Storm;
Apache Cassandra;
Zookeeper;
RabbitMQ.
Familiar with clientserver protocols such as SOAP and REST;
Experience with design patterns and encourage the use of reusability techniques.
