We are looking for an amazing new Director of Outbound Sales for our Document360 team at Kovai. Your key goal will be to keep our expanding sales team hitting their sales and revenue targets. You will be managing both AEs and SDRs.
This will include holding regular team meetings to ensure targets are being met monitoring performance & activity coaching and mentoring the sales team hiring new sales team members and being on top of the pipeline sales KPI and forecasts.
You will be building playbooks implementing improvements to our CRM database as well as improving the overall operational efficiencies of the sales process.

Tasks
- Lead from the front: Work strategically to ensure every member of your team hits their targets on a monthly basis
- Training & Development: Design and deliver frequent sales coaching to AEs and SDRs to improve cold outreach pitches virtual and inperson demonstrations and lead closing
- Strategy: Support the CRO to build monthly and quarterly strategies
- Offer Building: Consistently review and improve the positioning of our sales offering pricing and offers
- KPIs: Set datadriven targets and expectations and be comfortable in using sales metrics to drive change and performance
- Tools: Manage the salesside of our CRM and build on the use of additional tools and software to improve the sales team internally and externally
- Recruitment: Hire into and grow the existing sales team both in the SDR and AE teams
Requirements
This Person should:
- Be a naturalborn leader with a clear ability to inspire your team and keep them motivated and have a history of over performance vs targets
- Have excellent communication and adaptability with the ability to work with all throughout the business to grow revenue opportunities
- Have demonstrated experience in building and optimizing sales processes and materials
- Be experienced with frontline sales work (ideally via video calling cold calling and inperson selling) and comfortable running teams that close both SME and Enterprise deals
- Be datadriven and understand the importance of tracking metrics and subsequently how to utilize them when developing targets and strategies
- Be able to stay cool under pressure and keep your focus on the bigger picture of driving revenue
In terms of the experience they should have:
- SaaS sales leadership experience is required
- Experience with highvelocity selling as well as with MidMarket and Enterprise
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role leading sales teams in a fastpaced and dynamic scaleup/startup environment demonstrating consistent results with a strong understanding of processes targets and strategies
- Scaled and built a sales team before from hiring training processbuilding and developing playbooks to ongoing KPI management
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales team targets
- SaaS sector experience is a good to have
- Proficiency in sales training strategy design / implementation and people management.
- Good experience producing customer presentations and delivering them at a high level
- Excellent commercial acumen in decisionmaking and delivery
- Experience in a fastpaced environment whilst maintaining clear communication and strategy delivery
- Ability to be in the office (central london) 45 days a week or travel when needed
- Bachelors degree or higher is desirable
