Remote Data Collection Team Lead

Role Overview
Do you have a passion for AI and its transformative potential Generalist AI is seeking a Remote Data Collection Team Lead to oversee a team of data collectors working on innovative robotics data collection projects. In this role youll guide and support your team conduct training sessions manage access permissions and ensure the teams productivity. Additionally youll participate in data collection to gain empathy for the task and better support your team.
This is a flexible remote contract position suited for individuals with strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hiring (50%)
- Recruit a team of 30 data collectors using provided resources and tools.
2. Training and Development (25%)
- Provide onboarding training for new team members.
- Conduct regular oneonone feedback sessions to review submissions and answer team questions.
3. Engagement and Support (10%)
- Actively engage with the team via online meetings Slack and email to provide ongoing guidance and support.
- Clarify doubts relay updates from the Founding Operations Engineer (FOE) and escalate team feedback to the FOE or engineering team.
4. Quality Assurance and Task Management (5%)
- Audit team submissions for accuracy and adherence to project standards.
- Collaborate closely with the FOE to maintain highquality deliverables.
5. Data Collection (10%)
- Participate in data collection tasks to better understand the teams responsibilities.
- Use provided hardware to record data follow instructions and create diverse task scenarios.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a team lead or supervisory role preferably in data collection or a related field.
- Strong understanding of project rules instructions and quality assurance standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detailoriented and highly organized.
- Advanced or nativelevel English proficiency.
- Ability to use provided software for quality assurance tasks.
- Stable internet connection and availability to work 3040 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Entrylevel experience: 02 years in a relevant role.
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $24/hour.
- Base pay may vary based on expertise experience and project requirements.
