Job Description
Network Engineer
- Location: Des Moines IA. Relocation offered!
- Hybrid: 100% onsite initially and then Hybrid. Relocation offered!
- US Status: GC/USC only. No sponsorship is available.

- Implement network configurations and edgebased solutions based on requirements from engineering operations and key customers
- Examine and assess networking and IoT hardware options then communicate your discoveries to relevant stakeholders through comprehensive reporting
- Maintain expertise in data network security technologies ensuring costeffective solutions aligned with business direction
- Configure and analyze solutions on a wide variety of IoT devices including LAN/WAN switch/firewalls radios cellular modems GPUs IP cameras and IP security solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve IoTrelated incidents
- Evaluate select and deploy toolsets to manage measure monitor and report device network and system characteristics
- Maintain test lab equipment and manage test plans when applicable
- Provide technical leadership for the product design team driving standardization and automation
- Collaborate with internal IoT development team members and thirdparty service providers in the conception evaluation piloting engineering and operational delivery of solutions
What you need to be successful
- IoT Network Engineering experience is beneficial
- Bachelors degree in network engineering computer science or a related field
- 3 years of experience in deploying IoT technologies. Graduate degree in relevant topics will be considered toward experience
- Knowledge and awareness of IoT gateway products agents sensors and devices
- Experience in managing devices remotely and maintaining device inventory
- Experience working on Linux & Windows
- Knowledge of PowerShell or Linux Shell scripting and C C# Python
- Experience with the AWS IoT (or similar) framework is preferred
- General knowledge of the entire IoT stack with handson experience configuring IoT devices
- Provide escalation support for troubleshooting and resolution of network data and security issues
- Strong commitment to innovation and shaping the future of sports facilities
- Provide clear and concise recommendations to remediate performance/scaling bottlenecks
- Participate in lab testing with other teams to ensure performance expectations are met
- Engage with internal and external customers for briefings issue escalation and complex solution development via effective communication skills
- Document network and device capabilities for internal and external consumption
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Enable the extended teams vitality through training mentoring and skills transfer
