Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk

Location: Frankford section of Philadelphia

Job Description:

Eagle Staffing Company is excited to offer an opportunity on behalf of our client for a diligent and detailoriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This role is critical to the financial operations of the company and will involve direct interaction with customers and other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.

Work Schedule:

  • Duration: December 2nd December 31st
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am12:30pm

Compensation:

  • Weekly pay at $20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist walkin customers and answer phone calls professionally.
  • Consistently arrive to work on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Process sales orders and prepare them for invoicing.
  • Generate and distribute customer statements regularly.
  • Monitor and update backorder information.
  • Address simple customer account inquiries promptly.
  • Manage the organizations documentation including distribution collection storage and maintenance.
  • Handle credit card transactions with accuracy and security.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Accounts Receivable ledger.
  • Review and approve sales orders for credit.
  • Keep sales tax certificates updated and filed appropriately.
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer accounts in the system.
  • Continually learn and adhere to company procedures and best practices.
  • Perform various additional tasks as required.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional organization skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel) and Adobe products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and cooperative demeanor in working and communicating with colleagues and clients.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an office environment preferably in an accountsfocused role.
