Job Description
Position: Director of Finance
Working Hours: 9 am5 pm EST to begin and then likely 3/4 hours of overlap a day.
Location: Philippines
Holidays: Local holidays
Salary Range: $1500 $2500 USD
Payment Frequency: Monthly

Our client is a renovation matching service that connects homeowners with general contractors for their renovation projects. this company vets contractors and connects homeowners with a shortlist of qualified candidates. Homeowners can then request bids from those contractors.
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Director of Finance to join our team under the Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will have 47 years of experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles financial management and team collaboration. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing accounts receivable bookkeeping cash flow management vendor relations and financial reporting. Proficiency in software such as Quickbooks Google Docs Excel and Stripe is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct variance reports for each line of business.
- Improve accounts receivable tracking and facilitate ACH payments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow.
- Manage cash flow and provide strategic financial advisory.
- Prepare presentations and decks for board meetings.
- Navigate tax rebates and grants including ERC and R&D rebates.
- Oversee vendor management and payments.
- Coordinate with investor relations and maintain cap table.
- Calculate and administer sales bonuses.
- Assist in financial modeling for fundraising initiatives.
- Perform general tax preparations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Forecast monthly quarterly and annual financial results.
- Approve or reject budgets as per organizational guidelines.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement strategies.
- Evaluate and decide on investments to optimize financial returns.
- Supervise a team of Accountants providing guidance and support.
- Allocate resources and manage cash flows effectively.
- Conduct profit and cost analyses to drive decisionmaking.
- Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information.
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
- Consult board members about funding options.
- Recommend costreducing solutions to enhance profitability.
Required Qualifications:
- C1 English level with excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Must Have)
- Proven work experience as a Head of Finance Director of Finance or similar role.
- Indepth understanding of cash flow management bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
- Handson experience with budgeting and risk management.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Solid analytical and decisionmaking skills.
- Leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a relevant field.
- Master's degree (MSc/MBA) or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus.
