Job Description
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with company goals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Define category performance metrics and monitor KPIs like sales margins and inventory turnover.
Curate a competitive and customercentric product assortment.
Oversee product lifecycle ensuring freshness and adherence to quality standards.
Plan and execute categoryspecific promotions and pricing strategies.
Identify evaluate and onboard suppliers for fresh products.
Negotiate contracts pricing and supply terms to maximize value.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce wastage.
Monitor and manage stock replenishment to ensure availability and minimize overstock.
Work closely with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns for the category.
Partner with operations and quality assurance teams to maintain compliance with health and safety standards.
Manage the category budget including sales forecasts cost controls and profitability analysis.
Monitor category performance and implement corrective measures when needed.
