Job Description
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Customization & Configuration: Customizing Guidewire applications (such as Guidewire ClaimCenter PolicyCenter or BillingCenter) to meet business requirements.
- Integration: Integrating Guidewire with other systems including thirdparty applications and databases.
- Development: Writing and maintaining code using languages such as Java Gosu and XML to extend and optimize Guidewire functionalities.
- Testing & Debugging: Ensuring the quality of the applications by performing unit testing debugging and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaboration: Working with crossfunctional teams (business analysts QA architects) to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support & Maintenance: Providing ongoing support and maintenance for Guidewire applications ensuring they run efficiently and effectively.
The role requires expertise in the Guidewire platform and a strong understanding of the insurance domain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in Guidewire Development.
Job Description: Extensive experience and ample hands-on using IBM Cognos tool Experience in designing & developing dashboards and complex reports Understanding of India Insurance domain is plus Practical knowledge of connecting Cognos with on-prem DBs (like DB2) and cloud platform database services like GCP BQ , AWS S3/Redshift Good knowledge of using javascript in Cognos reports Knowledge of Cognos Administration is plus Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams Experience Range: 5 - 8 years Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E Skills Required: IBM cognos tool, AWS, Redshift, GCP BQ.
