Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer/Manager with strong experience in quality checks for finished steel products. This role involves managing the entire quality process including raw material inprocess and outgoing inspections. You will coordinate with suppliers and local quality teams reporting to HQ Manager and focusing on ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1Oversee quality inspections for steel products ensuring compliance with required standards.

2Coordinate with international and local suppliers and QC teams to address quality issues and ensure smooth production.

3Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues implementing corrective and preventive actions.

4Prepare and approve quality documentation ensuring quick resolution of any qualityrelated delays.

5Implement product and process audits driving continuous improvement initiatives.

6Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve quality processes and reduce risks.

Train inspectors and teams on quality standards and practices.

Qualifications:

1Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 5 years of experience in QA/QC particularly in the steel/structural industry.

2Strong knowledge of industry standards like ASTM SPC 8D and FMEA.

3Experience with sheet metal working assembly and galvanization is preferred.

4Excellent problemsolving and leadership skills with a strong focus on process improvement.
