Job Description
Position Title: Tool Maintenance Executive
Location: Jalgaon
Department: Maintenance
Reports to: Maintenance Manager / Tool Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Tool Maintenance Executive to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance troubleshooting and repair of tools used in the production process ensuring that all tools are functioning optimally to maintain production efficiency. This role requires a background in progressive tool maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular maintenance and repair of progressive tools used in manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with tools and replace defective parts as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to avoid unplanned downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure tool functionality and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain a tool inventory and ensure proper storage of tools to avoid damage.
- Document maintenance activities track tool performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Work with engineering teams to suggest improvements and optimize tool performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols ensuring that all equipment and tools are operated within safety guidelines.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new tools and machinery as required.
- Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in tool maintenance with a focus on progressive tools.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tool maintenance troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with safety standards in tool and equipment handling.
- Knowledge of precision measurement and calibration tools.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment particularly with progressive tool maintenance.
- Familiarity with CNC machine operations and other automated equipment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
