NCDOT - AASHTOWare Project Test EngineerJr Systems Engineer

The Test Engineer/Jr. Systems Engineer position will support AASHTOWare Project software used by NCDOT via creating executing & managing test cases for letting and compliance software use Azure DevOps & backup the lead systems engineer.

****Preference will be given to candidates living in North Carolina. If the selected candidate is not located in North Carolina the candidate will need to use their own equipment from home to remote into the worksite (PC set up in the organization).

Its expected that the Test Engineer/Jr. Systems Engineer will be available 8 hours during standard business hours 8AM 6PM MF local time. This is technical and analytical work in designing developing implementing and supporting AASHTOWare Project (AWP) software for bidding letting certified payroll compliance and market analysis data analytics reports and dashboards for the NCDOT. This role works with business analysts and other technical staff to deliver required functionality for AWP Preconstruction and CRL modules to the NCDOT business customers in an agile environment. It is expected that this position will be needed for the next year or two. This is technical work with AWP and supports participating in a wide range of activities related to implementation and support including system administration reporting automated testing configuration and interface development. This individual will work directly for the NCDITTransportation Letting and Compliance Systems (LCS) manager.
