Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the architect and solution designer to convert requirements/high level solution design into architecture aligned detailed technical solution design.
Experience and knowledge of software development life cycle.
Provide application development maintenance and endtoend technical expertise.
Expertise in software architecture low level technical solution visual design and technical governance of applications and platforms.
Responsible for the overall delivery of the Technical solution within a Squad e.g. Employee Exp. Or Customer Exp.
Developing & implementing technology solutions in line with best practices and to agreed timeframes.
Leading a team to drive the overall outcome extensive communication skills and have strong technical knowledge to guide the team.
Work with offshore engineers to ensure consistency and is accountable for endtoend delivery.
Inputs into sprint planning risks dependencies and governance.
Represents the team at forums e.g. WDP forum.
Demonstrating the below soft skills Continuous Improvement Keen to challenge the status quo Proactive and Vocal about issues and blockers.
Experience:
10 12 years of Experience with Teradata (SQL Utilities Architecture) Preferably Teradata Certification.
Hands on experience with Unix Scripting.
Experience in Data warehouse/Data platform design
Exceptional skills in Communication and Problem Solving.
Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by Westpac (desirable)
Enthusiastic: Must be highenergy.
Assertive: Must be able to be a voice of reason and authority make the tough calls.
Data and Integration experience is key
