Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and respond to discovery; conduct document review including eDiscovery
- Draft motions briefs and pleadings in both state and federal courts
- Conduct legal research (Westlaw) and prepare related memoranda
- Attend and conduct depositions
- Attend court hearings both in person and remotely
- Work with staff to organize and manage all case related documents
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- 4 years of litigation experience is required; commercial or real estate litigation experience is strongly preferred
- Prior court room experience is required
- Experience with eDiscovery software (Logikcull Relativity DISCO) is preferred
- Strong legal writing skills
- A selfstarter with strong organizational skills
- Detailoriented
- Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and in good standing
- Ability to multitask; adaptability
