Job Description
Location: Research Psychiatric Center Kansas City MO
Start Date: November 14 2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Shift Type: Day shift (No oncall or weekends)
The Social Worker (LMSW or LPC) will provide mental health support conduct therapeutic group sessions and potentially assist with discharge planning. This role emphasizes compassionate care for patients with mental health needs requiring advanced clinical and interpersonal skills.

Patient Ratios: 1 Social Worker to 10 patients

Scope of Work:
Facilitate mental health therapy groups.
Conduct mental health assessments and evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care and discharge planning.
Qualifications
Experience:
Required:
Mental health experience.
Experience facilitating therapy groups.
Preferred:
Familiarity with discharge planning processes.
Licensure/Certifications:
Active Missouri LMSW or LPC license (mandatory).
Skills:
Strong computer and documentation skills.
