Job Description
AM 12 Steel Estimator Fabrication/Erection Twin City GA
Our company is a fabricator and erector specializing in Structural Steel Misc Metals Ornamental Steel and Steel Renovation work.
Responsibilities
- Reviews project plans and provides estimates.
- Review contracts to make any revision of the scope of work
- Able to read Structural and Architectural drawings and
- Prepare accurate takeoffs of material shop and field hours.
- Create Job files complete required bid forms and scope of work from General Contractors and type and send out proposals.
- Estimates small and large projects.
- Estimates multiple projects with deadlines following up after bid submission
- Must be able to work diligently and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 35 years of experience in preparing detailed Miscellaneous Metals proposals
- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and installation
- Good communication skills and diligence in following up with customers
- Proficient in using different estimating software
