Job Description
A wonderful family near Sharpsburg GA is seeking an experienced and proactive fulltime housekeeper to care for their 6000 sq ft home. They are looking for someone who is detailoriented selfmotivated and comfortable taking the initiative to ensure the home runs smoothly. The role involves heavy housekeeping including all indoor cleanliness of the kitchen bedrooms bathrooms and common areas tidying and organizing spaces and maintaining a clutterfree home. Laundry will also be a key responsibility with tasks such as washing folding ironing school uniforms and dress shirts as needed and ensuring sheets and duvets are cleaned and lightly pressed on schedule.
The housekeeper will assist with occasional meal preparation including preparing easy dinners chopping vegetables and helping with dinner prep. Additionally the family needs support with errands grocery shopping and managing supplies. The ideal candidate will also help manage the children s belongings using the family s established organization systems such as colorcoded hangers and tidying with a minimalist mindset. They are looking for someone who can take initiative and corral items without needing detailed instructions maintaining the flow of the household seamlessly.
This position offers a fourday workweek Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a competitive pay range of $30 to $35 per hour based on experience. The family provides 10 paid vacation days annually along with 10 paid holidays if they fall on workdays. They value a housekeeper who is confident secure and takes pride in their work. The role requires refreshing the home each morning after the family leaves for school and the gym ensuring the kitchen and beds are tidy and ready for the day.
